TUDARCo IRIS Project team members organized the Networking Workshop for Micro Entrepreneurs which took place on 30th August 2018. The purpose was to allow Micro E’s to share experience and form networks to improve their business activities.

Micro entrepreneurs were divided into 5 groups according to the type of business; they were given instructions on what to do in their groups mainly was to list the challenges/problems they are facing in their businesses. They started by listing individual challenges, then they shared the common challenges. Each group selected the representative to present what have been discussed.

Micro entrepreneurs also had opportunity to exchange their contacts for further communication and networking. Social media i.e WhatsApp group will also be used to create a group where different information regarding their business will be shared to them. The challenges raised by micro entrepreneurs will be used to design their information services and trainings. TUDARCo students also will have the opportunity to solve some of micro entrepreneur’s problems through class assignments which will help entrepreneurs businesses grow. Other stakeholders will be involved as well example SIDO, TFDA, TBS, and others according to the needs.
